Your primary responsibility is to identify and engage potential clients and book qualified meetings for our Business Development Executives through phone calls, personalised emails, LinkedIn, walk-ins, networking, and other relevant prospecting activities.
The role provides an opportunity to develop sales skills, gain industry knowledge, and build relationships within London’s hospitality sector, with potential career progression within Thatsup’s sales organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify, research, and prioritise relevant restaurants, bars, hotels, hospitality groups, and other potential clients based on Thatsup’s target customer profile and commercial priorities.
Meeting Booking: Generate qualified meetings for the Business Development team through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, walk-ins, networking, and other prospecting activities.
Lead Qualification: Book meetings with relevant decision-makers at businesses that match Thatsup’s target customer profile and have a genuine interest in exploring our services. Ensure meetings are properly confirmed and that relevant information is shared with the Business Development Executive beforehand.
Relationship Building: Build relationships with owners, managers, marketing teams, and other decision-makers within London’s hospitality industry.
Market Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of the London hospitality market, including key operators, restaurant groups, new openings, and industry trends.
CRM Management: Keep prospect information, activities, follow-ups, and meeting details accurate and up to date in the Company’s CRM system.
Sales Team Collaboration: Work closely with Business Development Executives to improve the quality of meetings, share market insights, and continuously improve prospecting strategies.
Follow-up: Maintain structured follow-ups with prospects who are not yet ready to meet, proactively reschedule cancelled meetings, and follow up on no-shows to maximise meeting attendance.
Sales Development: Continuously develop your knowledge of Thatsup’s products, sales methodology, objection handling, and commercial offering.
Performance: Work towards agreed activity and meeting targets and take responsibility for continuously improving both the quantity and quality of opportunities generated.
